HIGH DRILLING POWER IN A VERSATILE TRACK BASED FORMAT, THE MULTIPURPOSE DB540 IS AN ESSENTIAL TOOL ON TODAY’S JOB SITE.
Power and Versatility
The DB540 features a powerful Deutz tier 3 liquid cooled diesel engine, producing 147KW (197hp) at 2,300 rpm. The DB540 has a maximum breaking torque of 44 kNm (31,140 lb-ft), 15 t of pull back force and 10 t of pulldown force
Multi-purpose
The DB540 is ideal for rotary, wireline & conventional coring, DTH drilling, double head rotary, auger and mini piling.
Safety
The DB540 comes loaded with standard safety features. The safety cage ensures drillers remain a safe distance from the drill string, while low speed and low torque rotation ensures safe rod management. The steel crawlers coupled with the DB540’s upright stability make this machine extremely stable on uneven formations.
Overview
It is truly is a multi-disciplined drilling solution for tight all-terrain conditions. (less than 8' wide) This notably quiet, powerful but compact machine is capable to drill 750’ depths with 33,700 pullback. The rig features a wireless remote with factory raised decking to accommodate removable road protecting poly pads for the steel track. The side shifting drill head carriage and powerful 3 speed, tilt out HY77 head and floating spindle is factory supplied by Energy Chain hose set and King water swivel. Rod clamps, breakout clamps, main (12,800 lb) LX11 winch, secondary (2000 lb) wire line winch and four corner leveling jacks are all conveniently mounted and powered by the amply endowed variable displacement load sensing hydraulic system. To aid in tool handling the wire line can be positioned using the hydraulically pivoting jib boom.

On board is a FMC, high capacity L1634 ceramic lined bean pump for high volume (250usg@365psi) water or grout requirements. Controls are located with perfect line of sit and within reach of the triple clamp tool handling and R6 rod presentation system. Five high intensity but energy efficient LED’s light the workplace and operator controls. Of course, Dynaset high pressure 2900psi spray washer, auxiliary hydraulic feeds, stainless drillers tool box and side rod box are included. The drill comes with various additional accessories including angle stiff leg drilling kit, drill material diverter and inter-lockable safety cage.
