  • ERRONOUSLY MADE WITH SMALLER NECK LIKE THE 2X3 ROPE SOCKETS HAVE.
  • The Rampp Company's "Burns" Socket allows the tool string to rotate extending the life of your line as well as preventing flat or crooked holes. The line runs through the hollow body of the socket, which is slotted on one side to allow the inspection and resetting of the swivel without the need to break the tool string to gain access.
  • Specifications for these particular sockets are as follows:
  • API Taper Joint: 2 1/4" X 3 1/4"
     
  • Nominal Socket Diameter: 4 3/4"
     
  • Rope Socket Neck: 2 3/4" (standard 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" rope sockets normally have a 3 1/4" neck, so that is why these are discounted. However, the smaller neck size should not affect the operation of this tool)
