Cable Tool Drill Stem Specifications:

• 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" API threads on pin end
• 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" threads on box end (both sets of threads are damaged, rethreading recommended)
• Local machine shop available for rethreading at additional cost

• Dimensions:
  • 5-1/4" outside diameter on box end, tapers down to 4-3/4" on pin end
  • Suitable for drill bit sizes ranging from 6-1/2" to 18" diameter
  • 268" (22 ft. 4 in.) shoulder-to-shoulder length
• Condition:
  • Wrench squares on both ends
  • Stored outside, causing rust pitting on body, but still has usable life if rethreaded
• Repair Options:
  1. Trim length and cut new 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" threads on both ends: $350 additional
  2. Cut both ends to desired length (240" or shorter), mill new wrench squares, and install new threads (2-3/4" x 3-3/4", 2-1/4" x 3-1/4", or 2" x 3") on both ends: $450 additional
